A Little Note From Me

Feeling good is often
in the small things.

As a professional artist, I’ve spent much of my life travelling, performing and living out of suitcases. Along the way, I’ve discovered simple little routines that help me feel grounded, happy and more like myself — wherever I happen to be.

I don’t do everything perfectly. I still sometimes reach for my phone when I wake up. I love a cappuccino and a croissant when I’m travelling. Some days I exercise. Some days I don’t. And that’s okay.

My Happy Life Routine isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating little habits that make life feel better — and that you can actually maintain.

You don’t need a whole new life. Sometimes you just need a few better habits.

Small changes.Real life.No punishment.No perfection.

10 Small Habits I Live By

01

Morning

Start With Gratitude, Not Your Phone

Before I let the world into my morning, I try to give myself a few minutes first.

02

Movement

Move for 20 Minutes

20 minutes is my goal. Not my rule.

03

Nourishment

Eat Well — and Still Enjoy Your Food

Make good choices most of the time — and leave a little room for the things you simply enjoy.

04

Boundaries

Protect the Way You Start Your Day

Does everything really need your attention the minute you wake up?

05

Energy & Sound

Use Music to Change Your Energy

Music can completely change the atmosphere of an ordinary moment.

06

Self-Care & Home

Get Ready — Even When Nobody Is Watching

I don't only get ready because someone else might see me. I get ready because I see me.

07

Clarity

Get It Out of Your Head

Having a plan gives my mind somewhere to put everything.

08

People & Energy

Be Intentional About Who Gets Your Energy

Not everything deserves my energy.

09

Evening

Give Your Day a Gentle Ending

At some point, I need to tell my mind: we're finished for today.

10

The Most Important Habit

Change the Thought

I may not control everything around me, but I can become more conscious of what I allow to live in my mind.

Energy & Sound

Music has been part of my life for decades — it isn’t a wellness technique I discovered, it’s simply always been there.

When I need calm, I reach for meditation, relaxation or piano music. When I want to change the energy in the room, it’s 90s R&B or Latin music, and the whole mood shifts with it. The woman behind these little routines has also spent a lifetime on stage.

A Note To Take With You

A happy life isn’t
a perfect life.

There will be busy days. Travel days. Lazy days. Days when the routine completely disappears.

The goal isn’t to create a routine you never break. The goal is knowing how to find your way back.

Make ordinary moments feel a little special.
